The victim spiralled down from a height of about 1000 feet !(300m) . Reserve parachutes takes about 200 feet to open. Those pictures of Mr. Kleiter training during the week before his death, are screen-shots from a video posted online by the infamous Transport Canada instructor, and show's no reserve. CPPGA is not advocating for the mandatory use of reserves to all PPG pilot all the time and everywhere, but in this case there was no reason for mr. Kleiter not to have one, flying in a trike, in mountain air. we are not going after the instructor. We are only ordering the transport Canada office to publish the report so people can learn from it , so to prevent it to happen again.
CBC Saskatchewan, but not in CBC British Columbia??
Nothing in 2012 !
The transport Canada office as no excuses to not publish this report as we are showing all the information here. transport Canada offices and the minister of transport are also receiving a daily CPPGA update.
Moments after we publish this accident report(without the IPB bellow) and
email a CPPGA update to the Transport Canada Ottawa office , on the 15 of
December 2014 , They get CAUGHT deleting this "Internal Process Bulletin" from the website. The timing of this action is proof of this "INTERNAL PROCESS BULLETIN" is
directly related to this case. An attempt to cover-up this accident.
(we only have 2 iphone pictures of the monitor, taken
on the 14 of December, ) This is very disturbing to see this SHADY secretive subculture in Transport Canada offices , plotting to misinform the public. We request national medias to help us investigate and publish this. Also we are asking any witness of the accident to please contact us, and also we would like to speak with
the family of mr Kleiter .

3 weeks after the death of Mr Kleiter , the so called "Chief-Aviation Contingency Operations, National
Operations in Ottawa, Anyk Bertrand" rush those, quote: "IMMEDIATE CHANGES" "For the
purpose of: the termination of reporting certain type of incident" ""incident with
potential for Media Attention"! To late Anyk, this accident happened BEFORE July 3th. and at 9:45am on Thursday ,So a written report is require, the email: anyk.bertrand@tc.gc.ca as been deleted.
Let say Mr Kleiter died after July 3 , after regular business hours, like 4:05pm , then no written report..
the duty officer do a verbal report to the "regional director civil aviation"or RCDA of the Pacific region,
the same person that had previously delivered the instructor licence to the unqualified instructor in this case. So it ends
there, no report in the Accident Synopses, Because it would make them look very very bad,
Showing a 100% failure of all TC instructors in BC!
The transport Canada office is CAUGHT again! After been pressure by the minister, They send us the link to where we can find the report of this accident! they had hidden it in a un-findable "Cadors report", while changing it to a "Hang-Glider Crash" ! This confirm that what we are saying is 100% true.
Here is the link to find it ! really! you have to type that to find it! or someone send you this link. The transport Canada office is also CAUGHT contradicting the RCMP report!!
is this a car? only an idiot would say:
"Yes it as wheels and a motor! so you need a driver permit,
license plate, registration, insurance, and liability insurance "
is this an airplane? NO ! only an idiot would say:"Yes it as a motor and it fly's,
so you need an airplane pilot permit, license plate, registration, insurance and liability insurance" . It is also important to say that because of the difference in the possible consequence of a bus hitting a powered wheeled scooter and a jet liner hitting a powered paraglider , special care must be taken by Powered paragliding instructors to teach their students how to stay out of the way of airplanes of course.

Lisa , just ask Anthony to forward you the U.S regulations (even if we already have send them to you)
To had to the insult ! New transport Canada regulations for drones!
Anyone over 16 years of age can fly a remote control toy as heavy as 77 pounds!
without any kind of permit! That's heavier than a paramotor, and the operators takes ZERO risk for themselves , so way more likely to do something stupid, so more risk for others. Beware of those things while flying your paramotor !
Canadian Powered Paragliding Association
Association Canadienne de Parapente Motorisée
| Home | "Canadian
Powered Paragliding Association" is Calling out Now All Powered-paraglider
pilots and paraglider pilots wanting to try the same glider they already
fly with a motor , that believe the
current regulations imposed by transport Canada office is Totally
100%Wrong The course and exams called "Ground School" for
"Ultralight Airplane" do Not apply for a powered paraglider at
all, Not
launching from an Airport! (view pictures from the book, click
here). We know that the same type of regulation as the in the USA is the only way to go! So we can welcome pilots from there and other country's. so we can organize races and fly-ins, and make it easier for new pilots to get into this great sport. and setting a guideline for instructors that wants to join our group voluntarily. The Wonderful sport of Powered Paragliding is currently Highjacked in Canada by a few Greedy Airplane instructors (most of them do not even fly ppg! they hate it!), with their airplane course that can only STRONGLY DECREASE SAFETY for powered paragliding students by teaching them the wrong subject for 20 Hours before even talking to him/her about paragliding! Yes 20 Hours of Airplane and Airports course!! it's a fraud and its dangerous. Even the most experience airplane pilot do not have a clue how to fly a powered paraglider. it is something different on is own, and it as nothing to do with transportation!! it is a sport! only to fly at specific locations with specific conditions. Powered Paragliding is Paragliding, nothing to do with airplanes! Because of the nature of this SPORT and the risk involve it is very important that you learn to fly from a very experienced and very skilled PPG pilot only! Request to see lots of videos of the instructor Himself flying a paramotor not an airplane before signing up for lessons. Our extremely reasonable proposition to the Transport Canada office and the is: To END the requirement of a mandatory airplane license immediately, for anything under 100 pounds, Not taking-off or landing at an airport, Not capable of more than 55 knots calibrated airspeed at full power in level flight. (In USA it's anything under254 pounds!!) So please join us! Sorry for the moment we are not accepting members that have a Instructor Rating Ultra-Light/powered parachute permit emitted by the transport Canada office(unless you`re willing to give up your nonsense permit and want to join us, and you have videos to proof your skills than contact us) But any paraglider pilot are welcome, or anyone just wanting to get into the sport. Email: info.cppga@gmail.com this website is a work in progress so check for update and we encourage your input. |
